I've tested the kernel on Ubuntu 16.04 32 bit and everything works fine,
even with kdump through NMI.
Note: Kdump through NMI on Ubuntu 16.04 32 bit with kernel
4.4.0-21-generic is not working. I've also tested Ubuntu 15.04 but this
version is End of life.

Hi Josh,
We missed your reply and now the folder is empty. Can you upload again
the test kernel so we can test it?

Title:
[Hyper-V] Kernel
Public bug reported:
During some tests I've encountered an issue with kdump through NMI SMP
and single core. After kdump configuration, when I trigger the crash
through an NMI call from the host, the VM will panic, however it will
not write the vmcore dump files and neither reboot.
REPRO STEPS:
With the latest daily image installation works fine.

I've tried to boot an Ubuntu 16.04 daily build from 09-Feb on a Windows
Server 2012 but it takes around 6-7 minutes. If I try to reboot it after
boot the VM hangs. Also system-udevd consumes a lot of CPU.

I successfully installed the second Precise test kernel from Joseph on a Ubuntu
Precise 12.04.02 and the vm boots fine.
I should mention that the default kernel is 3.5.0-23-generic. The difference
between kernels are pretty high.
My question is: shouldn't we do rebase to 3.5 version?

I've tested a Vivid with this kernel version: 3.19.0-31-generic. I've
attached 2 legacy NICs and both are detected by the VM and both are
getting an ip address.
Please mark this as fixed.

with Joseph Salisbury's kernel and it worked.
Then I upgraded to the latest Trusty version(14.04.3) and updated the kernel
too (Linux 3.19.0-30-generic) and kernel panic occured.
