Public bug reported:

My config:

- HP 2560p laptop
- External Screen DELL (1920X1200 )

At home I'm using only External Screen ( Laptop screen disabled in
Display manager) .

When i use minimzez dash . All is OK
When I want to have full screen DASH , effects (for exemple right clic

2012-04-16 Thread Pierre-Olivier Megret
Hi all ,

no news ?

I would add that with my touchpad , it seems that cliqcking on the right
half of the thin scrollbar close the dash ! . i must only click on the
left half of the bar to catch it.

Please can anyone pay attention to this point ?

[Bug 974075] [NEW] Drag'n drop covers from nautilus to Rhythmbox doesn't work

2012-04-05 Thread Pierre-Olivier Megret
Public bug reported:

RB takes covers form internet or directly from album folders too when RB
finds cover.jpg or folder.jpg.

But when I used RB ( when RB was default MUsic browser in Ubuntu ) I

This last option doesn't work in Ubuntu precise.

[Bug 956062] [NEW] Impossible to catch scrollbar with touchpad in unmaximized nautilus windows

2012-03-15 Thread Pierre-Olivier Megret
Public bug reported:

When I try to catch scrollbar in a unmaximizes nautilus windows with
my HP 2560p touchpad ,scrollbar disappear too quickly . It's quite
impossible to catch in with cursor . It seems like catching zone has
a too small area and that the reveal area is not the same that catching
area .. so i can make scrollbar appear and when I try to put my cursor
on it with touchpad in order to 'catch it . scrollbar disappear.

The issue comes only in unmaximized nautilus window and with touchpad.

no bug in other apps , with trackpoint or external mouse.

[Bug 717970] Re: After sleep, key presses get lost and trackpad is jittery

2011-10-27 Thread Pierre-Olivier Megret
I'm affected too but I found a workaround on my machine !

what I did:

pierre-olivier@oneiric-Vostro-V13:~$ sudo -i
[sudo] password for pierre-olivier:
root@oneiric-Vostro-V13:~# cd /etc/pm/sleep.d
root@oneiric-Vostro-V13:/etc/pm/sleep.d# ls
10_grub-common  10_unattended-upgrades-hibernate   novatel_3g_suspend
root@oneiric-Vostro-V13:/etc/pm/sleep.d# nano clavier_bug

and create the file like this:

#!/bin/bash
case $1 in
hibernate)
modprobe -r psmouse
;;
suspend)
modprobe -r psmouse
;;
thaw)
modprobe psmouse
;;
resume)
modprobe psmouse
;;
*)  ;;
esac

Ctrl+O to save and choose the name you want ( clavier_bug means
keyboard_bug in french ;) )

then :

root@oneiric-Vostro-V13:/etc/pm/sleep.d# chmod +x clavier_bug

in order to make the script executable.

and
root@oneiric-Vostro-V13:/etc/pm/sleep.d# ls -l
total 16
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root  210 2011-10-01 14:40 10_grub-common
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root  482 2011-02-03 20:49 10_unattended-upgrades-hibernate
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root  242 2011-10-26 15:57 clavier_bug
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1260 2011-07-09 04:21 novatel_3g_suspend

to verify.

then  reboot.

Trying suspend to ram or disk or close/open the lid ... and no more
keyboard issue here .

[Bug 860375] Re: my expo edge settings is not kept after reboot

2011-09-27 Thread Pierre-Olivier Megret
** Description changed:

  I'm used to configuerate the top-left corner to switch in expo mode ( or
  desktop-switche) . I use CCSM to set that and select/valid top left
  corner in CCSM / expo / bindings/ expo edge.

  After setting it , top left corner works well but after reboot , it
  doesn't . Top left corner is inactive although it 's still selected in
  CCSM.

  I have to deselect top left corner , valid new setting , reselect it and
  valid in order to activate it.
+
+ The Issue occurs after session logout too.
