2016-11-15 Thread Sam Douglas

[Bug 312352] Re: python-tagpy should be added as a dependancy

2009-09-25 Thread Sam Douglas
An unnecessarily accusive tone. This bug report was from 9 months ago, but I installed the package via Synaptic. I did not explicitly remove python-tagpy, or decide not to install the recommended packages. The real issue I was reporting was that functionality in the program did not work as

[Bug 264167] Re: Text Import from clipboard only imports the first line of data

2009-04-27 Thread Sam Douglas
This bug is still in the final release. [between this bug and the plots bug, Gnumeric is unusable]. The text import dialog completely ignores numbers the user inputs for lines to import -- in data I wanted to import, I entered lines 22-25, but it kept changing it to 15-25. -- Text Import from

[Bug 352139] [NEW] Frequent short lockups in any application

2009-03-30 Thread Sam Douglas
Public bug reported: Running Jaunty beta, I frequently experience lockups, where a program will stop responding to input for a short period of time. This is -very- disruptive. I'm not sure exactly what causes it. It happens in Pidgin, and happens whenever I save a file in Emacs, which suggests it

[Bug 112703] Re: tomboy sometimes starts with search dialog rather than as minimized applet

2009-01-17 Thread Sam Douglas
This problem is currently present in Intrepid, I have investigated more; it seems to be caused by Tomboy launching before the notification area applet has loaded. If I remove the notification area from my panel configuration, Tomboy always starts with the search for notes dialog and the program

2008-12-29 Thread Sam Douglas
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: sonata Sonata should depend on python-tagpy. It is very un-user friendly to tell them to install extra software to access the full features of the software (and especially not even give the correct Debian/Ubuntu package name). ** Affects: sonata

[Bug 61565] Re: f-spot crashes with errors about mono

2007-02-01 Thread Sam Douglas
I downloaded F-Spot 0.32 and built it and it did not have this problem. It appears to include its own version of DBUS-Sharp (rather than using the currently unmaintained dbus-mono binding). Should be fixed in Feisty though. -- Sam -- f-spot crashes with errors about mono

[Bug 61565] Re: f-spot crashes with errors about mono

(reopening bug?) I too am having this problem. I am running Ubuntu Edgy, with the latest updates as of Feb 1, 2007. I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 (E1505 in US) which is an Intel Core Duo. Information I have found elsewhere suggests the problem is a race condition in the Mono DBUS libraries; but I
