I've added patch to solve this issue to the list of debian/patches
rebuild the package and checked that this issue is fixed. Debdiff file
is attached.

When I switch to show hidden icons in systray or hide them back I can
see some icons pictures on the panel outside of systray. This garbage
disappears in 5-8 seconds.

I'm really wondering why this bug is marked as fixed?
I'm running Kubuntu 9.04 with all updates avaluable from official
repositories and this bug still exists. The situation even become worth
with upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04 (actually it was not upgrade but
reinstallation since I always wondering
I have the same issue.
Yesterday I made upgrade and great ammount of kde stuff was upgraded except
phonon-backend-xine. I tried to upgrade it manually by the command 'sudo
aptitude install phonon-backend-xine' and discovered this conflict between the
packages. Aptitude couldn't resolve this
I forget to mention that I'm using ppa.launchpad.net repository in
addition to the standart repository list. Here is my sources.list
