Eventually, i have applied your patch to the kernel.
I have DAC1 and DAC2 now and somehow sound is better now than before, but rear
speakers are not working.
If i change the level of DAC1 - the sound volume changes, but the changing of
DAC2 level does nothing.

reinstall grub to boot, all desktop icons except folders and LibraOffice

even get rid of it..I just try not to touch it. However, I added via
terminal another force-quit and it works fine. They just need to add the

When opening gedit from dolphin you can fix this annoying problem by modifying
the line that lauches the program. Change:

Have installed Ubuntu on an Asus Model A52F. Although Notebook remains on, I
cannot reactivate Display from "suspend" or "hibernate" mode. I first have to
depress starter button for shutdown and then restart the device with the same
button . What

Enhancment of long.in.the.tooth's solution (does not need to fetch the packages
from the internet).
1. Start the machine in trial mode.
2. Open a terminal
3. Execute dpkg -iR /cdrom/pool #installs the packages from the USB drive.
4. Remove the file /usr
This bug also affects Natty Narwhal Alpha 1.
