In my opinion its an flawed thinking, to remove the possibility under
settings to configure, which NTP-servers should be contacted to adjust
the clock.
Please reopen this bug

the clock was spot-on, until 10
minutes ago; now its skewed approx 6 minutes (:^((.
I don't think its my HW, as I never saw this problem before installing
11.4.

sysytem-config-date as it's no longer

AND the work-around at the top of this thread does NOT work
- at least not in 11.4 :
it's not possible to check remember this..., because that check-box is not
there in the pop-up Open with.
BTW : I never changed what program should open at folder; it simply
appeared

Could you please add some more information to your bug report? I would
like to know what you mean by no DHCP. Is it that there is no DHCP
server available, or is it that your computer does not get a response?
Also, as you set up eth0, what do you mean
, set
managed=true under the ifupdown-section
then restart.
(The doc says that you should run killall nm-system-settings, but that doesn't
work.)
