Similar to but 1312358, the connection gets cut everytime I'm downloading a big
file or a group of big files. The indicator in network manager appears
connected but I can't access any site until the wifi connection is restarted.
Observed in Ubuntu 14.04 and 14.10.

not for daily use but it fixes the headphone issue. Is it going to be

Knowing how Ubuntu works this bug will not be corrected in Jaunty for
the stupid hard freeze in code, even for bugs. As Kubuntu is a second
class distro, let's hope that it will be corrected in Karmic. I suppose
that they will release a new tool to update from Jaunty to Karmic or
that they will war

implemented once a distribution has been released. I think that we will
have to wait to 9.10 to see a fully functional kpackagekit, although it

According to NVNews forums, the 180.37 drivers seems to fix the problems with
signals. If you don't want to update the repositories with the new drivers
without testing (although I doubt they will be worse than the 180.35 drivers),
please, post here the updated packages and we will test it.

Volume keys work, but not the two laptop hotkey shortcuts:

Tried with Hardy Alpha 6 Live CD. I have the same problem above. All I
see in /var/log/messages is:

But the memory stick is not mounted.
Using a Sony VAIO FE31Z.

Iv'e checked with the preview again enabled again and now it doesn't
appear in a separate window, but in the preview panel. The last time I
enabled the preview panel once the files were added to the project,
while this time I had the preview panel enabled from the beggining.

Sorry for the delay. I've tried with both, the Live CD and my up to date
Gutsy installation and they don't work (Fn is not responding and
brightness cannot be changed in the gnome power manager preferences).

Yes. If I enable it the result is the same.
I've observed that when I add a video file, I can rename it clicking on the
name and the preview doesn't show on the first time. But once it has been
edited, further tries to edit the name show this behavior.
