Upstream doesn't like the patch. They prefer the fsyncs since that
provides database consistency. As said in my previous post, some work is
done in another direction, living with fsyncs.

I was experiencing the same problem with the same messages in the
syslog.
However, as well as adding [ $REMOTE_ARGS = \'\' ] REMOTE_ARGS= to
line 40 of /etc/init.d/lirc I also had to edit /etc/lirc/hardward.conf
and change REMOTE_DEVICE='' to REMOTE_DEVICE=/dev/lirc0

Hi guys
I've got the DV2in European version (1023ef),
with same config more or less
ATI HD3410, HDMI
2Go Ram
DD 5400tr 250Go
No External DVD
Well, I got it with Vista, but boot on a triple boot Seven/Vista/Ubuntu
Works quite great on 7 (7077x64)
On JJ 9.04 released 04-23 it works with a few
phyto: Interesting, I have a very similar configuration. Gigabyte
mainboard, AMD 4850e, DDR2 800 MHZ MDT 3 GB, Samsung HDD and the same
HL-DT-STDVD-ROM :D

Since this seems to affect quite a few people, let's report this
upstream. I have very little time now, but if I install Jaunty if it's
ready and the error is still there, I'm going to report this. The linux
guys should be able to give out a statement whats going on I think.

Here it is working. Fresh install of Jaunty (32 bit), Psi from the ubuntu
repository.
You migrated, did you already try to remove psi completely and install it after
that again? be sure to remove your .psi folder in your home folder, but after
that your history will be gone.

It happens to me too. I've tried Kate, Konsole and Konqueror and accents
works fine with those apps but not in the notes plasmoid.
