How hard is it to fix this freakin bug? All the information that is
needed is easily found in the monitor's own manual.
Thanks to this bug and tv tuner bug, I am making my switch back to
Windows. obviously, ubuntu and linux developers blame closed source all

I have reproduced this bug. And it's easy to do.
Remove the package language-pack-*-base. Replace * with whatever language
package that is installed. Mine is english. Now run exaile. This bug will crop
up in terminal.

I tried your suggestion for Hardy and it didn't work. See bug #238191
for details on the hardy bug. OpenSUSE sees my tv tuner as graphics
card. and prevents me from enabling nvidia driver. Hardy screen goes
blank at trying start X with nvidia driver enabled and I have onboard
Ethernet enabled.
I did try to play Extreme Tux Racer in Intrepid when my tv tuner card
was removed. Monitor still got out of range error. Bug still exists even
Intrepid.
I can't use Intrepid as of yet due to major bug between tv tuner card and
nvidia graphics card.

tried it with and with nvidia drivers installed. and Xorg.conf reset.
Whenever I have a fresh default state of Gnome-panels, I can logout as normal
using the applet in Main Menu/Gnome Menu.

I third this request. I hate the entire new window look. I had to
remove deskbar applet from panel and switch to tracker.
