So the original problem of the guest tpm driver getting a resource

I know this is an old bug but I have the same issue with a new ASRock
Z97 Extreme 6 with an i7 4790S. I've reviewed the linked bugzilla
report from post #8 and the *fix* to use 'intel_iommu=on,igfx_off' does
indeed allow audio to resume but breaks IOMMU as in I can no long pass
through my Nvidia
I have been trying kernel 3.19-rc4 as suggested by #311. I however, get
frequent crashes especially when streaming any videos/sound. Does anyone
else have this issue? I'm using a T440s with Ubuntu 12.04.

I used the image:
utopic-desktop-i386.iso22-May-2014 07:50 1.0G Desktop image for
PC (Intel x86) computers (standard download)
Booting with the option noapic, and EFI disabled. After 30 minutes I was
able to login into the computer using tty1. The Graphical iterface
didn't work.

Thanks for your reply. I followed the packaging guide to create the
debdiff. How can I generate the debdiff with only the debain directory
changes? Why does the debdiff only need these changes and not the code
changes as well?

I've removed the old debdiff and attached the new version. I've followed
the process on the wiki for updating packages, and only made the changes
given on the wiki.
I think the changelog error was due to creating a package from scratch
last time out of interest before working on the patch.
