Ubuntu 12.04, (also Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha), does not shut down if KAlarm is
running. Instead of shuting down, a message appears sayng that a program is
still running. If I have not KAkarm runnig, the PCm (amd64 powered), shuts down
properly.

I am adding this note with the hope that it can be of help.
Actually, the Automount function operate properly and the icon is displayed on
Places Computer.
No icon, however, on the Desktop.

I was able to reset the Sheet and make disappear the faulty Page Preview by
clicking on FormatPageRemove when I was in the offending Page Previev.
Although I did not solve the bug problem, this allowed me to ue 3 weeks of work
done and carrying on using the superb OO-Calc.

I can not close a Print Preview page. Every time I open an OO Calc file the
same Page Preview of a different selected Sheet appears. When I restart the PC
and I reopen the Spreadsheet file, the same Page Preview is displayed.

I noticed the above OO Base 3.1 malfunction after downloading and installing
the latest update suggested by Ubuntu.
I can not say it for sure, but I believe that a Java file was one of the files
in the Ubuntu update.

lspci and Xorg.0.log for Ubuntu 9.10, since 9.10 does not install on my Hewlet
Packard 713n PC.
