You were right, the crash happens after gmusicbrowser writes gmbrc files. It displays Writing tags in ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/gmbrc ... Writing tags in ~/.config/gmusicbrowser/gmbrc ... done Then crashes. So it's probably the same bug as the one you linked. But it's description doesn't match my situation. I think it's the same bug as https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gmusicbrowser/+bug/1401609 The crash doesn't happen all the time so that could expain why you think it only occurs when closing the window.
