I have never heard of FODT.. what is that?

In .fodt file in OO 3.1 on Ubuntu 9,
FODT is Flat ODT, in which the file is non-compressed. It's much
larger, but makes it easier for the software to save and access parts of
it in large files.
However, I've followed the bug elsewhere, and learned that FODT isn't
supported by OO, so I've given up using it and I'm not going to try to
I'm going to close it due to it relying on functionality that isn't
supported. I am interested what is working for you now (feel free to
post it to the bug to inform others with the same problem). Sorry OO
didn't work for you.

Hi Brian
Actually OO did work for me later on another project with smaller files
that didn't have large embedded graphics. I just used ODT format files
which are fine when small.
However, the experience did cause me to investigate the Mac further; I
had hoped to get off commercial software
I can add that this bug appears also on NeoOffice on Mac, so it's not
Ubuntu-specific.
Is there an OO-specific bug-list that I should report this to?

not saved.
