Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Natty Narwhal reached EOL on 28 October 2012. Please see this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases It could also be an issue with an error in the download of your ISO, or in the copying to the installation media. Because of this, you will want to verify the image (there's an option at the boot menu). Please either a) upgrade and test or b) increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can try again. I will make this bug incomplete until this additional information is obtained. For some lower-spec computers, using the alternate ISO is recommended over the live ISO. I installed it on my netbook in the past. Ah sorry I did not see your post with Toshiba NB305-N600 written on. I installed 11.04, 11.12 and 12.04 fine on my little samsung N145. Perhaps it might be an issue with the model. Stl, whilst unetbootin is pretty good, it does sometimes have issues. The people at pendrivelinux have a new 'toy' for us to play with. I've used their stuff in the past and it has always been good. I will try to get time over the w/end to see if I can recreate your problem with unetbootin. I'm not too sure how much help it will be, as I'm on 9.10 at present!
