I don't think this a duplicate of the bug #982710 either. My logouts are
much more often then every coupld of days.. sometimes they can happen as
much as 2 - 3 times every 10 minutes, and then not for a

driver, this is not the issue here. This relates to random dropouts from
the lightdm session, usually when there is some sort of

random logouts here too... No problems with 11.04, but problems with
12.04LTS. Randow logout in chromium browser, approx every 2nd day - very
annoying, all work is lost...

I just want to add that this only seems to affect 3D versions. could
this have anything to do with Compiz? I'm able to watch videos without
logouts using Gnome classic or Ubuntu 2D. I've tried this with

the same as mine and I can't see any reason for calling this a duplicate
