seems to have been updated in Debian stable *security* repo.
Please, with a lot of respect, note that I quite agree with Martin's

Indeed you are completely right. Unfortunately I think this is blocked
on packaging libshaderc in Debian/Ubuntu first. I see a Debian wnpp
bug[1] but it has no activity.
