As I said file dialog denials are unsolvable unless snap adopts xdg-
desktop-portal but afaik chromium doesn't support it anyway. When you
open file dialog it will iterate over files in current dir and most of
them shouldn't be allowed but they also can't be explicitly denied.

i've stumbled upon this right now with foreman and bionic + xenial via tftp/pxe
I updated the files from
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/xenial-updates/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/
and put ldlinux.c32 pxelinux.0 into the tftpboot folder. This solved my problem.

CanHibernate results initially in "yes" but hibernation actually fails and
results in a locked screen.
After unlock, second (failed) attempt to hibernate, second unlock, the

Actually given that you believe that bug 1864791 is sort of caused by
this first occurring, let's try to track this one down further.
The fail log would be especially helpful because there's some new
changes to how logging is done. It would be best if you can it with
`sudo -E calamares -d` as that
"Show transmission in the notification area" was checked. But it didn't
show up in indicator. After reboot it does. Looks like some issue with
the indicator. Thanks

lightdm.conf not being sticky. This worked for a week or so, but today
reverted back to keyring prompt.

When booting to "graphical.target" sddm hangs with a flashing text mode
cursor at the bottom of tty1. Running "startx" on tty2 successfully
starts KDE/Plasma (sddm remains hung).
The the sddm status provided below shows that the sddm start did not
finish. The gdm back-trace

Every time the "Authentication Required" prompt pops up, the right side is cut
off short.
My resolution is currently set to 1600x900 on a 1920x1080 13." screen. The
same thing happened at native resolution.
