I concur. Open Containing folder is extremely common usage across all
sorts of programs (esp. web browsers, but also most file managers - can
confirm with Nautilus as well) and is even used by Firefox's download
manager. Keeping this consistent is a must.

We met with Meridel, I agree with her that "Open containing folder" may make
sense to the technical audience but will feel clunky / not plain language for
general population.
Chrome and Edge use "Show In folder" which feels more natural and will align
with other browser patterns.

FYI, the 'solution' for this issue that is now in the kernel breaks
capturing screen+currrently playing audio with ffmpeg, for me at least,
on AMD Raven hardware.
I tried many things but could not achieve good audio capture that is
synchronised, not when capturing from Pulse anyway.

I agree with Matteo Italia. Some of my users do use KDE desktop, but
setting global system wide fonts settings (wrong) for other Desktop
users is not the way to do KDE settings. If I just remove this file
completely, I think the system will just work better, even for KDE

I've tested this with focal-hwe (Linux thiel 5.11.0-27-generic) and hirsute
(5.11.0-31-generic).

Gosh, @vanvugt, I run 20.04, everything up to date, and this bug still
seems present. I wonder why people thought it was fixed. Could the fix
still not be pushed out to the repos?

Retesting with snapd 2.52+git658.g005f554-dirty (13328), mksquashfs is
able to work as expected. I believe that when we are able to
autopkgtest against a snap with that fix, that this problem will be
resolved.
