I do use BQ E4.5 as my daily phone and can confirm that this problem was
not present in OTA-13. And since Mir hasn't changed between OTA-13 and
OTA-14, it could be unity8 or ubuntu-keyboard causing the issue.

Recently it is not possible to run a single individual autopilot test on
the device using phablet-test-run. Running the entire test suite works.
On debugging the issue, it turns out that the code logic which
determines whether python 2 or python 3 should be used fails since if

sandboxes and that is the main issue. We already have a bug report in
the clock app requesting for mocking the EDS collection to avoid
interacting with the user's alarms and events, let alone the events of
another app
@sil2100, I am not sure why the system settle tests are not failing. But
if the high CPU loads were observed manually and the tests dint fail,
then I suppose that would indicate the tests need to be modified/fixed
to detect these issue as a failure.

I can confirm this issue on 5.8 as well. It gives a false illusion that
you can click anywhere on the rectangle to choose that lens. Low
priority bug needs fixing before final release

aptd crashed with Unbound
Please raise the priority of this bug as this is a glaring problem and
can confuse new users when they see the launcher icon still being shown
