I had a terrible delay in every game from Maelstrom to Urban terror.
Sound was playing 0.1-0.2 seconds later than it should. That's already
too large delay, very annoying. Maybe your whole second delay is some
complex problem, or your cpu is slower.

Maybe it would be better to consider this bug as a feature? (rather
useful by my experience in backing up root and home partitions ;) ) and
provide a switch to turn it on and off. Or a way to change uuid manually
if needed...

Upstream won't help. They just keep talking about some crap, like half a second

Trying to set rw permissions for folder inside fake trash results in operation
is not supported by driver.
You need to manually go to actual trash ~/.local/share/Trash,

turn off backports repo
reload index, install stellarium and other packages that was deleted by
dependencies
lock libqt4-core and libqt4-gui versions via Synaptic.

I also have problem after upgrade to kernel version 2.6.27-14 in Intrepid, but
with rt73usb (tested with Asus WL-167g and D-Link DWA-110 adapters)
Sometimes system locks up: no new programs can be launched, no new logins can
be done, gui tools, including shutdown, can't be used, ctrl+alt+del
...no change in alpha 6

I've just experienced full hangup without backports modules installed. It was a

I solved my problem by deleting contacts from both evolution and pidgin.
Another problem is: when jabber contact is present in evolution and you have
two jabber accounts, this contact every time appears in both accounts.

Auto eth0 will come back, because it is default config for specific card.
Problem is in gaining root privileges to save system-wide config.
In Hardy with NM from ppa everything in this area worked, so I could create new
config, assign it to specific card by mac-adress, then turn on system
Confirmed on x86 system also. Opening teaed, then opening a file in it
works, but opening file with teaed results in:

between wifi and ethernet on his Dell Inspiron 640m:

There are many bugs about vpn secrets in NM, but they appear to be about
communicating with keyrings in user-level connections. And comments are
cluttered with descriptions of different situations.
Let's try a fresh start with one
workaround works :)
When editing connection, password is there, but saving profile erases it
again.

I was able to create a working system-level pptp connection with a workaround
of this bug:
