Hans, thanks for the update. With the Daily build of 18 Feb, the mouse is now visible in the VirtualBox virtual machine without 'Disable Mouse integration' or 'Enable Absolute Pointing Device' disabled. So, the problem is fixed as far as I'm concerned. -- You received this bug notification

I wonder if this is a VirtualBox problem. Creating an Ubuntu VM seems to have Mouse Integration enabled by default. Work around: Selecting the VirtualBox 'Machine' menu on the VM window and clicking on 'Disable Mouse Integration' makes the cursor visible inside the Ubuntu VM. Once you have

The problem still exists in the Daily Build from 1 Feb 2012. Running the iso in a VirtualBox (version 4.1.8) VM with PAE enabled. The mouse cursor appears in the center of the screen and then once the box comes up asking to try or install ubuntu, the mouse curser vanishes and is not visible
