What I did just before is to open a terminal and hit backspace. It reset
my session and I ended up at the login screen. I logged back on. Then I
opened Firefox and this site and posted both files. I did nothing in
between.

Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Only since today, Rhythmbox is now unable to copy/read music from my MTP
player. It is still able to list the content of my MTP device and to
detect/eject the device.
Downgrading to rhythmbox 0.11.6svn20080903-0ubuntu2 or even

It gets even better: every time I mark/unmark the folder(!), the total
counter increments by about the total count of the messages(!). I get
the same error message if I expunge folder (this is what I meant by
compressing folder in my previous comment).

I'm not seeing anything wrong in the code that outputs the text. Might
be an error in gtk? Might be that I have no idea what's going on.

p4-clockmod won't reduce clock, the CPU just stays idle during N out of
M clock cycles. The power consumption during those cycles is just as if
the CPU was normally idle, the clock modulation will just force it to
be idle.
p4-clockmod is unlikely to reduce power consumption unless the CPU load
is

If I understand correctly, I should debdiff python-
django_0.96.2-1ubuntu2 against my python-django_1.0-1ubuntu1~ppa3.
Am I correct? (The deb.diff is 15.2 MB. Should I upload it anyway?)
I didn't get much further than
2.6.23 does not appear to have this problem. 2.6.24-rc1 did not want to
build on my system. I'm in the process of building down 2.6.24-rc2. I
figure that will at least narrow it down to reasonably small area.
