sé, but the way AllTray is designed (AllTray works with the window

I had the same problem. Every time that I swich-on the computer the
masterbackend is not running. If I start it from terminal console (sudo
/etc/init.d/mythbackend start) it start normally without error and the
front-end work well.

compiz, but cannot confirm or reproduce. I was not able to move back to
console by pressing CTRL+ALT+F1 (F1 to F6) , I just got a black screen

I downloaded the source from intrepid and compiled on hardy. The
resulting deb installs fine, when combined with installing intrepid's
version of libpam-runtime.
So far, so good.
I am attaching the deb, in case anyone else wants to try them or needs
them.

'xbacklight' and 'xgamma' commands are working well, so with these command, it
