My problem seems pulseaudio-related. Unfortunately, every time I try to
go to the pulseaudio package in lauchpad, all I get is an error page
saying that launchpad is having problems.
Today I first resumed the laptop on the train and it worked fine with
the themed beep using the module-x11-bell
Will be resolved for 10.04.

* kfi should have it's desktop file named firefox.desktop
* the firefox package (also shipping firefox.desktop) should be marked Replaces
kfi
* when firefox gets installed the kfi desktop file will be overwritten, when

CD. Used my old home folder/account, and booted back into Ubuntu. Sound

PS. The problem seems to be in Compiz. I completely removed both Emerald and
