Hi, I tried to uninstall openoffice so I could re install it.
It says packages depend on open office and to run package manager to resolve
this.
Is there a way to do this through apt-get.

apt-get remove package will remove package. However, you will need to
be careful. Open Office is closely integrated in Ubuntu's Gnome.
Removing it will leave you with a broken gnome. Make sure to notice all
the packages apt-get removes so you can install everything again.

Cara, eu não sei se os links que o pessoal te deu até agora deram
alguma solução, mas eu tive o mesmo problema que vc, com o mesmo
modem, e minha solução foi radical: devolvi o modem à loja e comprei
um outro.
Pois nenhuma das soluções que eu encontrei na época funcionou, talvez
um pouco até pela
Eu uso programas de torrent. No meu caso, o Azureus. Muita gente não
gosta porque é em java, mas comigo sempre funcionou muito bem...

O comando lsmod lista todos os módulos em atividade no sistema.
Em teoria um dispositivo como esse deve ter pelo menos um módulo carregado

il ya quelques jours j'ai demande a la liste comment je peux obtenir un cd
ubuntu pour l'installer sur mon portable.
Merci à Stéphane Kupecky qui m'a offert gracieusement un cd 6.06 qui me
parviendra sous peu.
Entre temps nous avons recu ( a mon agreable surprise) a l'universite

driver ODBC, et FreeTDS, j'ai téléchargé le dernier driver
mysql-connector-odbc-3.51.12-linux-i686.tar.gz d'une part, les paquet

J'ai actuellement un filer NFS sous Fedora core 3 que je souhaite migrer
vers une ubuntu dapper.
Les fichiers exportés sont sur une partition à part en ext3 RAID5.
Je me demande comment récupérer la partition RAID sans perte de données.

5.10 et j'ai installe la 6.06. Je dois dire aussi que la connexion
internet a l'universite laisse a desirer parfois elle va tres bien
parfois elle est lente l'informaticien me dit que sont materiel gere
mal les conflits IP

J'ai cette erreur de temps en temps.
Alors je remplace tous les fr. par des be. et cela passe.

2) j'ai edite le fichier sources.list
et j'ai change

regle sauf sauf qu'il y a encore des choses bizzare:
1) lorsque je commence le telcharcgment je recois

afin de pouvoir faire le monitoring d'un procédure stockée sur M$ SQL,
j'utilise nagios pour ça, j'ai téléchargé deux plugin, check_mssql.sh et
check_mssql_sproc.pl, le problème c'est que ça me retourne

c'est faite normalement, mais à chaque démarage de la machine les dns
sont remplacées dans le fichier /etc/resolv.conf par cette adresse
