As the subject says I need to backup my device before sending him to bq. I
do not know how to perform a backup, neither the recovery as the option to
do it, neither the system settings. I've waiting for such function to land
in Touch, but now my bq can't wait anymore, he has to go.

Touch is still alive unless we hear otherwise.
The convergence story is moving ahead with 16.10 and as far as we
havebeen told so far the Phone forms part of that.
