All I had done was mention that chromium doesn't play well with xfce4.8 it
will raise itself over a stay on top window even with just moving the
mouse over it :P

indicated. cpufreq-info does tell me that they have been used some as
their percentage use is higher than zero, but checking the speed every
second or so seems to miss the speed ramp up or down.

easy enough after people have done a test

It appears we need to remove the package xfce4-utils from our seeds. It
has been replaced by the newest versions of the packages that once
depended on it. Then our ISOs will build again.

for example, PA will not grab the port. It will however create a dummy
IF and switch any current applications to that port. It does not
automatically switch them back when jackd restarts.

is one idea.
Note: I am doing this on my own at my own request. The broken panel was
bugging me. Any changes I make are just ideas that may or may not be used.

Post any comments (aside from it not being finished ;-). The idea is to
showcase the apps that are unique to Ubuntu Studio and to put like apps
, but it does seem to be an accurate
representation of what the install will be like. It will be interesting to
see what happens when you get the default session set.
Anyway, these are just ideas, they may not work for you. Maybe wouldn't
work for me if I was doing the actual work. ;-)

Test that all work flows on the WF web page actually can be done.
Speaking of which, are all the applications for work flows installed yet?
It seems audacity has not shown up yet for example.

I can switch between them (which would be worse). A button (menu
selection) that turned a bunch of stuff off would be nice, but just using
a stark desktop to begin with would probably be better.

it while installing our iso so I will at least mention it here...
I have filed bug Bug #920069 about kernel panic when inserting an SD card
in the machine something that works just fine in xubuntu 11.10.
