Nope, latency isn't your problem nowadays as a number of MESH projects are
broadcasting this distance - your problem is the bandwidth that's actually
useable - ie the further you get away from the originating base station, the

(except the recently released beta version, 96.43.09) for my card, a
GeForce 4 Ti 4200, that supports X.Org 1.5.
So I am left with the choice of waiting
Well I'll be blogging about it later but that was a great evening - there
were easily a hundred people there at the peak, and Mr Shuttleworth himself
was there for most of the evening, as was Popey from the UbuntuUK podcast
and the master of power management, Matthew Garrett.

Sounds like a good release party, unfortunately I work evenings so
missed it. I just got home half an hour ago (it's now 01:30).
I am downloading the 8.10 versions of Ubuntu 32/64, Kubuntu 32/64,
Ubuntu Studio 32/64, Mythbuntu 32/64 via bit torrent and will seed them
during my off-peak
