Little tip to the workaround from Erich Eickmeyer I found out the the same... Ardour crashes when parameter "Oversampling" has the value "4" Because of this i was unable to open my Ardour and Mixbus files anymore. To save the work with enabling/disabling all plugins open the affected .ardour file
