Hi Ken,
the problem is the dos-boot and smartdrv. In the dos-boot image there is a
call to smartdrv without parameters. This is correct for an installation
of windows XP but leads to corrupted files with windows 2000. Just add
parameter /x to this line and it works.

and everything
was ok.
I was not able to use the linuxboot disk so I didn't check this disk for the
same problem. Symptoms are that after the first boot a chkdsk runs and some
fileerrors are reported. And you can see a folder name found on the target
disk.

this scenario can lead to problems with HAL, the hardware abstration
layer, especially with laptops. The first phase decides which HAL will be
installed. I think your scenario is practically equal to using sysprep,
which is faster.

Hi,
don't have Nero right at hand but you have to burn the iso image directly
without converting to somethin else. Nero has an option for this but not
in the wizard.

Hi Tony,
First: you didn't specify operating system (Windows 2000, 2003, XP?)
You didn't mention IIS or ftp server and you did not say local user or
domain user. This makes answering a little bit difficult.
My

To be honest, no. :) The docs explicitly talk about

Hello,
under UNIX, or Linux it is a one-liner like the following:
find . -type f | perl -e 'my $s; my $l; while (){ chomp(); $s = $_; $l =
length($s); print $s length: $l\n if $l 63; }'
note the single quote after perl -e

Hi,
according to the bochs-documentation the io-address is specified in the

Rebuild: I don't know for unattended but normally change kernel
