Hi, I did have same problem with unattended dos-boot disk. There was a line in autoexec.bat with "smartdrv" only. This is correct for Windows-XP but not for Windows-2000. With Windows-2000 you get a corrput filesystem and a lot of missing files. I changed this line to "smartdrv a- b -c" and everything was ok.
I was not able to use the linuxboot disk so I didn't check this disk for the same problem. Symptoms are that after the first boot a chkdsk runs and some fileerrors are reported. And you can see a folder name "found" on the target disk.
