It appears I don't have a soa-update file. I guess this is due to the

Have a Q for the developer Triode for this excellent little app.
Have this weird? behavior when trying starting different versions of
squeezelite, not really a huge problem since actually one of the
versions I tried do work the way I want it to. But I thought I could
post and maybe it helps
Triode,
JiveLite on Raspbian is failing to resize the artwork. If I disable the
upscaling in SlimServer.lua - _loadArtworkImage(), then I do get the
image, though only small if the full resolution wasn't available.
Do you have an idea why JiveLite might fail the upscaling of jpeg files

I am experimenting with sending squeezelite output to another script.
I have 2 scripts, a shell script running squeezelite and a python script
(playstream) processing the output, so my top level script 'stream.sh'
looks like:
Code:
./squeezelite-stream.sh |

Yes - you have edited that file. You need to check it out again or

Well, I actually never edited that (or any other soa) file. But I guess
this could explain why I have some issue with the reboot command (WB
crashing). The initial install process did not end as it

That is oh so true !!
The great thing about these projects is that it provides a good learning
school... :-)
Do you know any good resources that explains a bit about git?

Pascal,
I really think Triode would expect non-developers (that's me) to simply
clone the soa-aur repository on github with a git clone command, and
then update their local copy with a git pull as and when notified of
changes/updates via this thread until advised of an alternative
mechanism. If

Hi Triode,
I have followed your instructions as per post # 27 and everything went
well. Thanks for that. Very clear and straight forward.
I have tested squeezelite with my usual DACs and it is all working like
a charm.
I am now attempting again to instal LMS as the first time I have tried

I'm concerned that Arch has been chosen for this project. A distribution
that willingly describes itself as Bleeding Edge is not a good recipe
for a stable music player. I get enough bleeding edge at work, at home I
just want something that gives no trouble and playes music.

I wouldn't know where to start.
I'm slightly amazed to discover that I could, in principle, dispense
with Logitech hardware, or any other separate audio DACS such as
Raspberry Pis etc, by using LMS with squeezelite. I managed to get
squeezelite to send output to sox, and then to an http stream in wav
format. This is then made

A fresh re-install did the trick, Triode. LMS is now installed and
working as expected!
