Have a Q for the developer Triode for this excellent little app. Have this weird? behavior when trying starting different versions of squeezelite, not really a huge problem since actually one of the versions I tried do work the way I want it to. But I thought I could post and maybe it helps someone else or perhaps it's of interest for Triode?
Problem is this ; i have tried squeezelite versions ; squeezelite-1.6.2-412-win32 , Squeezelite 1.5 both and both of them simply refuse connecting to LMS. When I start them the CPU load goes up to just above 50%! and just hangs like and that nothing more happens. I've tried all sorts of different start up commands, different mac's, specify server address etc, but nothing seems to help. My LMS is version 7.8 and running on a windows xp SP3 machine. Version ; squeezelite-1.3-307-win32 do connect and seems? to work fine for me. I use it with a ASIO soundcard. What I wonder is what are the differences of this versions? Am I missing something not using the "later"versions? An answer would be nice, but no worries if not.
