Picked up one of the 7" Pi touchscreens this week (with the
frame/stand), and added Jivelite to a Pi2/IQAudioDAC set up running
piCorePlayer. This was pretty easy to set up once I got the ribbon
cables connected correctly. Looks great, works very well.
I think all I need to do now is to bodge

I had trouble with a Ralink USB WiFi stick with earlier versions of
piCorePlayer, replaced it with an Edimax one, and all was sorted. I
later used the Ralink stick with a Pi running SqueezePlug, and had
disconnection issues similar to those you describe

no difficulty in assembling it. I bought the version with unsoldered RCA
sockets, which I attached to the board via wires. I had a cheap plastic

I have a Raspberry Pi with piCorePlayer 1.13d and the HiFiBerry DAC.
Works very well, to the point that I've had to buy a second Pi for
playing around with. On the second Pi I have fitted one of the Element
14 'Wolfson DACs'
