I had the same issue after uprading from a raspberry pi2 to a pi3. My rasbian image with squeezelite & jivelite worked well on the pi2. After upgrading my image on the pi2 and putting the sd card in the pi3 afterwards, Jivelite failed to connect to the LMS. As ralphy mentioned, it helped to
