Thanks. I didn't think it made a difference, just trying to post all I
know. (Can I post all I don't know? :) )

My modem is an Xfinity combination modem/router. I have enabled the
bridge mode so that I am not using the Xfinity router, just using the
Netgear nighthawk.
This has changed the shares on

visit. (My

I'll trouble shoot it some more this weekend. My router is actually

I visited for a few minutes today and submitted a quick dmesg. I'm not
sure what I am looking for in the mount. I'll be cack next week for a
few days. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks. That is the strange thing. My Marantz UD5007 BluRay player can
see the network drive and all of the directories and plays the files.

Thanks, will do. It will be in a few weeks though. The setup is at a
relative's house, and I won't be visiting again for a few weeks. I'll
report back!

Much appreciated Paul. However, I am still getting the same results. :(
I am having a problem mounting a network drive from piCorePlayer.

I have shared the High Resolution directory as HiRes

Heh, yes. I use it often to replay a song.
Sorry if I wasn't clear with my post.

I don't see the skip backward "<<" button. Also, if the volume has been
set for 100%, can the volume up and down buttons be removed?

If anyone is interested, I have been using this 'Amzer Convert Micro USB
to Dual Micro USB Twin Y Splitter Charging Handy Data Cable'
(https://amzn.com/B003WUXMW8) for powering my Raspberry Pi /
piCorePlayer / Raspberry Pi display.

Hi folks, I took a look and didn't see this issue anywhere, I'm hoping
there is a quick setting solution.
I am at a relative's house where I have a Raspberry B2 (ethernet)
running PiCore/Jivelite 2.0? It normally defaults to the LMS running on
DellMini (ethernet). Well since I was in the process

1) I am running piCoreplayer 2.0 on a Raspberry Pi 2 and I am getting
the red light on shairport. Shairport setting is on on the picoreplayer
menu. I've stopped and started squeezelite, rebooted the pi, and
rebooted the router. Still shairport is not running. Did I miss a step
along the way?
Thanks to all for the responses to my query

Is there a preferred power supply method for the Raspberry Pi Model B 2
/ piCoreplayer / jivelite / official Raspberry display configuration?
- Individual power supplies for each (5V micro USB 1200 ma)?
- USB 5V 2A(?) PWR In on the rPi display + USB from PWR OUT to micro

Thanks. I think that I am just going to buy the latest Raspberry Pi 2
and ad
My apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but I have done a search
and did not find any definitive answer.
Where is the best place to purchase the Official Raspberry Pi 7"
touchscreen? I have two other Raspberry Pis (Model B) running with
picoreplaer an would now like to construct this

I turn mine off with whichever software or app that I am using to
control it - the LMS webpage on my laptop, Orange Squeeze on my Samsung
Galaxy or kindle.
Hi Steen -
I loaded the latest version onto the Raspberry Pi that I have here at
home. Everything went smooth, no issues with the tabs that I reported I
experienced with my remote Rpi. However, I noticed that the new version
was not outputting in 192 as version 19k was. I'm using the HDMI

I have version 1.19 running on a Raspberry Pi B in my summer bungalow.
It is connected remotely to LMS running at my primary residence. Runs
perfectly, even 192/24 files register as 192 on my Marantz receiver.
I upgraded to ver 1.21 and everything was running fine. I used the menu
to navigate

Thanks for the quick response, but I AM using the IP addresss.

Erm, you wan't an explanation of ALSA config, specifically frames,

gives a very good explanation. It's not squeezelite specific,

Yes, that's a good point. If the built-in (or USB) output shares the

Sam - are you using the Triode version or the Ralphy version of
Squeezelite? I cured some

hi stereoptic,
Thanks for you detailed explanation.
Yes, try the latest software, fingers crossed it will help you.
As a side note, I would never try to get 192 streaming over the
internet. Where I live, the internet speed isn't sufficient to give

I just tried ver 19 using a new SD card (I tried the upgrade option on

Hi, Thanks for the report. I hope we can get your HDMI working.
The HDMI settings are a bit different from the other output settings as
manipulation of HDMI needs a reboot in order for the changes to
kick-in.
So please try to select HDMI output - press save, and then press

hi stereoptic,
Just wondering, when you swap the Audio out between HDMI and anything
else, you must do a reboot for the settings to take effect. This is
because some of the settings for HDMI are in the config.txt in the boot
partition and is only read during the boot
I am run version 15.i of the picoreplayer on a Raspberry pi Model B.
When I selected HDMI settings I was not getting any output at all,
although the song would appear to play for a few seconds and then stop.
I am accessing my LMS through the internet to a remote location. It can
access the LMS

Thanks very much Steen. I as thinking about reverting back to an
earlier version of either picoreplayer or Squeezeplug.

Thanks! The older version is working great. I've sent a donation.

Hi - I've read through this thread and others and can't determine a
solution for my issue. I am using squeezelite on a Raspberry pi
connected via HDMI to a Marantz receiver. If I use the picoreplayer or
squeezelite through Squeezeplug, my receiver is only displaying 48000
for the sample rate.
