I tried a few other cards in the Audio Output setting, but none got
squeezelite running.
I just changed in-situ from 3.21 audio to 3.21 standard.
Both ESS9023 and Generic/Simple ESS9023 work here.

They do continue to tinker with the USB stuff. Perhaps there is
something kernel related, but unless you can repeat the problem it's
doubtful it could be found. USB on the rpi's is just not very good.

Hello just had a lockup while i was using 3.21 at the time i playing an
album and clicked on the next track button via the web page GUI also
couldn't get into the PiCorePlayer settings page to do a restart so had
to pull the plug which when it restarted gave me see image, turned off

I upgraded in-situ from 3.20 to 3.21 Audio.
Everything went through and the version is working fine, including
built-in WiFi of RPi 3.

I use OpenDNS settings in my router. I left the nameserver field blank
and it auto filled with the router IP. I just tried inserting my OpenDNS
in that field..208.67.222.222, with the same result.

I attempted to update from 3.20 Audio Kernel to 3.21 Audio kernel.
After what seemed a successful download I received an "Error untarring
boot tar" message.

Just started the onsite update from 3.20. Everything fine until the
reboot window popped up. I confirmed, now PCP and the Raspi it was
running on are not reachable anymore. The Raspi doesn't seam dead, it's
still pingable. But no ssh access either :(
Will have to set up PCP from the scratch...

I have an issue with pCP 3.2 (normal) on RasPi 3 Model B, an iQAudio
DAC+ and official 7'' touchscreen + JiveLite.
Sometimes (regularly, but not any time), the DAC crashes after having
switched off the player and on again. No audio output any more.
If this happens, I can only fix it
All my audio issues sorted I'm having issues with my mounted network
drive connecting after a reboot of LMS.
After each reboot of LMS I have disabled then re-enable the drive for
LMS to see the content then perform a rescan.
Any ideas on a resolution?

uuid. As usb devices like to change /dev/sd? Letters when rebooting.
It will work better in the next version. If you want a backup, just do
it manually.
I would like to use a USB thumb drive to save my config file using the
"Save to USB" on the "Main" page of pCP 3.20. I also use a USB drive to
store my music. I think I know the answer to this, but here goes...
The music drive mounts to mnt/music. Is there a way to mount the USB for

Sure.
Be aware, it is nothing special. It is just a relay that gets triggered
by a 12 volts signal.
The relay is simply wired in parallel witch the mains switch.

I gave my Pi Zero W another try with pCp 3.2 today.
I can get audio over HDMI but I still can't get USB Audio to work with
my Sabre DAC.
pCp sees the device as "iec958" but none of the settings I try produce
any audio. This DAC works fine with pCp 3.2 on a Pi3 so I can only

Step 4 did the trick.
Thanks Paul. That worked for me. For some reason the backlight
extension stopped working now. I'll uninstall/reinstall and see if that

Yes, i'm using the joggler skin. There is no analog VU option in the Now

I realize this is of no help, but I noticed the VU meter disappeared
with 3.20. Still in the extensions, but doesn't display when cycling
through views.

I'm preparing a system for a friend and installed piCorePlayer 3.20 on a
RPI 3.
All is working well, except that I can't find the VU meters in the menu.
I have downloaded them from the piCorePlayer web pages but still they
don't show up in jivelite.
Any ideas why that is?
