Hi,
I'm now having my 2nd go at this. I download Ubuntu for Wandboard, got
it running and created the SD card in the 2nd slot. I then transferred
this to the main slot and rebooted. I am now waiting for it to build I
think. At the moment I am 40 minutes in and the wandboard keeps
rebooting every

Hello Steen,
sorry it is me again - downloaded the new version 1.17a and tried with

Hi there,
I mounted my Windows Home Server from the storage tab and it seems to
work but I have one query. It didn't like //servername I had to use the
ip.address instead. I don't have a static ip address set so this might
change. How can I get the //servername to work?

DOes Pi-core have the right stuff to output info from squeeze light to

Hi rippi46
Is this specific for the display 16x2 characters, or can I use other
sizes?
Can I still perform an update via picorewebpage? Or is the lcd no longer
working after an update?

Would building LMS myself really fix it?
Yes
Isn't the debian unstable LMS package already built on debian unstable
(and the testing package built on testing and the stable package built
on stable)? Maybe the builds lag behind the latest unstable a bit since

I apologise for my cluelessness. I have decided to enter into the world
of linux and thought I would have a go running lms under debian wheezy

I have managed to install LMS which appears to be running fine and
appears in the browser. That said I

Hi all. I'm planning to upgrade my LMS box from Debian Squeeze (6.x) to
Wheezy (7.x). Any gotcha's I need to look out for when it comes to
running LMS? I no longer follow the bleeding edge of LMS nightly
releases (though the work on 7.9 does look exciting). Thanks!

I can reconnect the player from LMS no problem. It reports the player
is not connected and would I like to connect. I discovered the server
ip in the advanced config tab, so it is now set. Haven't really tested
yet. In any case not a big problem, and actually no problem when I stop
playing

Hi coacharnold,
This thread might shed some light.
What version of perl is this OS using ? Seing reports that anything
beyond 5.18 is not yet supported by LMS ( like perl 5.20 ).

I know you asked about x86, but I don't see why it should be much
different from my results on arm7hf
Code:
debian@arm:~$ cat /etc/os-release | awk 'NR==1 {print $0}'
PRETTY_NAME=Debian GNU/Linux 7 (wheezy)
debian@arm:~$ uname -a
