Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce piCorePlayer 3.20
Got my Picoreplayer back up and running now that sourceforge is back up. Made sure both Simple mixer controls were checked, didn't have the .80 checked before. For now left DSP filter at FIR setting, I'll see what the others do tomorrow. Also got alsa mixer installed, but haven't changed anything from the default flat settings. I think the Picoreplayer Pi 3 model B with hifiberry DAC+ Pro just might be a little more quiet (volume) than the receiver. I'm calling it good for now. Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Announce piCorePlayer 3.20
I built a PiCorePlayer using a Raspberry Pi 3 model B and Hifiberry DAC+ Pro. Went together without a hitch. Installed Picoreplayer 3.22 (not audio) and that went well. I've now got it all working on my wifi network, but I have an audio problem. For the most part it's great (by this I mean the sound is clean with no audible distortion), but volume isn't what my Squeezebox receiver was and vocal frequency range seems to be very lacking from what I'm used to. I have volume set to 100% in Squeezelite, but have changed nothing else. How do I go about applying some equalizer settings to bring up the vocal range? And maybe a little more in the high end, bass is fine. My amp really has no tone control or I'd adjust it there. My best shot at editing anything not modifyable via the webUI for squeezelite or picoreplayer would be to remove the card and edit on my Win10 PC and put the card back in the Pi player. I found this over on volumio.org that sounds like what I've got going on, but the help just said to contact HFB... https://volumio.org/forum/hifiberry-dac-plus-pro-best-settings-raspberry-t6487.html Anybody here have any suggestions?? Re: [SlimDevices: Unix] Old playlists showing as empty after migration to pCP
I know there are those that don't think playlists work well in your root music folder, but I have always had them there with no issue. My master music library is on a Win10 PC on a D: drive in a folder named Music (D:\Music\). On my android phone I have a MicroSD card that I also have a folder called Music with my full library. Within the Music folders on both the phone and PC folder/file structure is the same. I use relative file locations in my playlists and have never had to modify a playlist, just copy playlists from my PC music folder to my phone music folder and they work just fine. Here's a playlist I built for what I call "Abbey Road Medley" and it works as is on both my phone and my PC. The Beatles\Abbey Road\09 You Never Give Me Your Money.mp3 The Beatles\Abbey Road\10 Sun King.mp3 The Beatles\Abbey Road\11 Mean Mr Mustard.mp3 The Beatles\Abbey Road\12 Polythene Pam.mp3 The Beatles\Abbey Road\13 She Came In Through The Bathroom Window.mp3 The Beatles\Abbey Road\14 Golden Slumbers.mp3 The Beatles\Abbey Road\15 Carry That Weight.mp3 The Beatles\Abbey Road\16 The End.mp3 Main system - Rock Solid with LMS 8.2.0 on WHS 2011 - 2 Duets and Squeeseslave Cabin system - Rock solid with LMS 8.2.0 on Win10 Pro - 1 RPi 3 Model B/Hifiberry DAC+ Pro/PiCorePlayer and Squeezeslave Squeezebox Boom - "At Large" player around both home and cabin Headphones and car - Android phone/Bluetooth w/full library on MicroSD card - PowerAmp music player app (similar to Material Skin) w3wilkes's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22973 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114789 ___ unix mailing list unix@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/unix
