git commit dfb2ca117f2cde7b94109a671219a6bafcdc91de (1.3b1) builds, installs and plays nice and clean on Fedora 17 and 19, x86_64. I always build a real Fedora RPM kit, let me know if you (or someone else) would be interested in the RPM spec file.

I can reproduce the problem with a fresh and up-to-date RaspiOS install. But even then there are no messages in the syslog. The system just freezes without clue. LMS 8.2 on RPi4 - PiCorePlayer 8.0.0 (SqueezeLite) on RPi1
