PDF widget and "pinch zoom"

Hi all, I just found out that the PDF widget supports "pinch zoom" (correct term?) on Android. KIND OF! It is VERY VERY jerky, but somehow works, yet unpredictable, takes some seconds to finish. Is this an undocumented feature? If yes, any chance that this can/will be optimized so it really work
