Your database must already be set to UTF-8.
If you are using postgres, you can test this by:

psql (8.4.7)
You are now connected to database ofbiz.

I believe it's a server setting, N/A to entitiyengine.xml
Also, for ofbiz, there are a lot other mysql parameters you should

Hey Dave. It is a little confusing, so I looked at Data Model
Resource Book to see if there is clarification. From what I can
garner, a Vendor sells stuff (to you), and a Supplier supplies you
with repetitive items, over and over.
You may call your local light vendor and ask for 100 15w br30

Thanks Jacques. I'm using 11.04 seeded data. Also, trunk is similar
when viewed through WebTools:

These fields are also blank in trunk, so I'm just wondering what to do.

I've never tried the above, even so, you'll STILL need to become
intimately familiar with
that mirrors the CSV file structure. Then I write a service in
mini-language to read the temporary entity and process the data it contains.
Categories, products and prices can be generated with just a few lines of
mini-language code.

I'm trying to pre-populate PartyAcctgPreference from seed data (if that is
possible). There are no existing transactions yet.
Thanks

Hey Hans. It would be useful if you posted your upgrade schedule, and
which trunk revisions you would consider stable enough for production.

If one of the OFBiz ecommerce VM's crashes (or I restart it), would another
