Not quite sure since I never ran it from rpm so far, but I believe you can
disable it in
/usr/share/cloudstack-management/webapps/client/WEB-INF/classes/nonosComponentContext.xml
just comment out the line entry key=premium value=true/

Hi, your observations on Compute Offerings are by design. They can only
be created and managed by admin accounts, and only the name and
description can be edited. They can be public or domain-specific, but a
root admin account should be able to view all of them.

Good day to you, and thank you for your email replies.
We are using Ceph RBD primary storage. I can't find any error information
on agent.log, and I have set the logging to verbose (DEBUG) for all.
Since I am using RBD, am I still able to run the qemu-img info command?

For it to be proper layer 2 over layer 3 the VMs in each zone would need
to be on the same subnet. That way they can ARP for a VM in a different
zone and traffic would use the GRE tunnel.
Ah... yes, sure.

Hi Kirk,
Good day to you, and thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I have confirmed that the compute offering is causing this. The
network rate on the compute offering for all the VMs were set to 2
Mbit/sec. For some reason, the network rate was not enforced when I was
still using CloudStack 4.1.1
Dear all,
Anyone knows what is the meaning of Offer HA function when we create a
new compute offering? Is it referring to the compute HA (e.g. VM instance
will be auto-failover to another hypervisor host if the existing host is
down) or storage HA (auto-failover to another primary storage)?

Hi Indra,
Offer HA is nothing but it will monitor the system VM's and if set to yes
then it will be highly available as possible
You can set the same when you create a new compute offerings.

Rafael, there is no way to filter offerings by the caller type, not even

Why are you running competing DHCP servers on networks that CloudStack
supposes are its networks?
There are ways around this, essentially configure your non-CloudStack
DHCP instance to ignore any of the MACs range handed out by
CloudStack.

It's called inheritance.
I put my public users to public domain.
I put my private users to their private domain(s).
And then I put specific service offerings to specific domains and are
visible only there.
I guess if i wanted something cross domains i would put it to domain
root (like you) and
Move those administrators to their own domains as normal users.
Administrators will always be able to see/configure everything, that's
the basic point of being administrator.

So you want to have a user(s), that can create new infrastructure

For users:
1. Create a new domain uder ROOT, let's say Public.
2. Create users in this Public domain.
3. Create service offerings specific/tied to Public domain.
For admins:

You can add a jira ticket and/or write a functional spec on the wiki. Of
course if you want guarantee that it will be doen, you'll have to do it
yourself. You can ask on the dev list for help if you don't feel up to it.

I am setting up a small test cluster and decided to use XenServer this

I would always advise having a standalone xenserver cluster for management
purposes. Typically consisting of 2 hosts to host the cloudstack
management and database servers.
