hey ALL??
How many hosts do you have in your setup and how are they distributed across
clusters? Are all hosts running the same version of the xenserver hypervisor?
Do you see the issue only with custom offering; or is it seen if an instance
has been created with any other offering? Anything in the
Hi Devdeep,
Thanks for replying, it is one cluster with 7 hosts, we still have room to
migrate this host, in fact other machines created from pre-defined offerings do
migrate fine.
All hosts are running the same version Xen Server 6.2 SP1,
There is no logs the when you click the migrate to
Sorry forgot to mention this cloud stack is migrated twice before from 2.2.14
to 4.2.1 then 4.3 if this helps

Hi Pradeep,
In the current version of cloudmonkey, unicode chars are not supported
(also it's tricky to do it with Python2x).
I'm working on a golang based port [1] in my free time to solve some of
these issues which will have support for unicode encoded strings. We'll
also have to test if
Dear all
I experienced volume quota problem recently. DATA volumes in 'destroy'
state seem to be counted in as volume usage, then I have to set a
higher value to volume quota if I can't expunge those. If you know how
to resolve it, could you help me?
Environment is as below.

Hi,
after the upgrade to ACS 4.3 (from 4.2.1) existing VRs for VPC lost their
eth1 which is public NIC. VR got eth0(control nic) and eth2 and eth3 (bith
belonging to Tiers). From CS GUI, it is reported that the VR has eth1 with
Public network attached, but from inside (ssh to VR) there is no eth1
Dear all,
I would like to enable the dynamically scalable property of a Virtual machine

cannot find any parameters that enables this feature. However, I can do it

Hector,
The API you need is the updateVirtualMachine API for release 4.2 or 4.3 (this
is a 4.2 feature so will not be in the 4.0 API docs)

When a VM is deployed, it takes the dynamicallyscalable setting
Hi David,
Sorry for late response! I would be surprise there is issue with the VR, I
would suspect a communication issue between Cloudstack management-server or
a misconfiguration in the zone.

VR ? the VR must contact the
Hi,
Can you please share management server and router logs in pastebin.com to

Anyone know if Cloudstack developers follow some web accessibility
specification, like WAI-ARIA (http://www.w3.org/WAI/intro/aria) to develop
the Management User Interface?

Hi, this is due to PV mode VMs on XenServer not having a virtual
graphics card. The console for such VMs is a serial console so X cannot
run. If you need a GUI, try configuring VNC in the VM and connect
directly using a VNC client.
Best regards,

Hi,
If you want to update the vm to enable the dynamic scaling (using
updateVirtualMachine command)
1. Please make sure the vm has xenserver/vmware tools installed on it to
support dynamic scaling of cpu/ram.
2. Set the zone/global level configuration parameter “enable.dynamic.scale.vm”
