\\otherpc\blabla\mydocument.doc, by double click I see the Libreoffice
logo appears for few seconds, then nothing.
If I try to open the same document by menu - file - open - network it

Thank you very much for your response.
As you suggested, I've tried with other files. Until now I've done many try
only with other *.doc files, that are what I mainly use, with same result.
With *.xls, *.odg, *.odt LibreOffice works fine. So I think this, with *.doc

I've found the issue:
I've a file server where users work. I mirror the work directory on my pc

Interesting. I had this same problem for a while on Max OSX 10.5 and
NeoOffice. Could not be open by double-click, with the same basic symptoms you

- LibO_3.3.2_Win_x86_install_multi.exe
- BrOffice_3.3.2_Win_x86_install_all_lang.exe
Both have same behaviour.

It may not be an application problem. When I had this problem, it was specific
to certain document types, but eventually I found that it was not directly
related to NeoOffice. It appears to have something to do with interpreting
paths within the OS and/or identifying file types. That is, it

one that i copied onto the file-share over the network opened fine but the
other

Hi Michael,
I do not know much about LO, but I wrote the initial xml filter code
for graphics in OOo. Maybe LO has changed some or there is a bug.
But if it works for small documents it should work for large documents.
Are you really saving the presentation inside the directory with the
