I think it's going to be easier to do something quite radical AFTER code
clean-up is almost done. Surely it's got to be done to the entire code-base
all at once and all the libraries and all have to be changed at the same time?
I don't think it's a trivial thing to fix.

Nope but LibreOffice is pushing into the desktop OfficeSuite market and
developing a port to mobile platforms. A few other programs that prefer Odt
and the OpenDocument Formats for the other apps are likely to start pushing
into the market much more aggressively too. eg Google-docs,
You know I just figured it out. synaptic to the rescue. Looked for a
package under Word Processing and notices that it wasn't installed. Seem to
