Hi, you all clever guys,
I don't think this list is meant for naming or humiliating any others --
not people, nor programs, nor anything -- that behavior rather works
like boomerang and shows the quality level of these naming and blaming.
I am eagerly looking forward to the day when a

I’ve got some data, that, very simplified looks like
1,2,3,4,“Cell E1”
2,2,3,4,“Cell E2”
3,2,3,4,”“Cell E3”“
4,2,3,4,“Cell E4”
5,2,3,4,”“Cell E5”“
i.e. it contains both text and quoted text.

Sorry
Been sick
Just picked up over 400 emails since last online.
The reverse order solution works.
I do not know why I need to check the reverse order option,
but it is what works.

Hello Joep,
Thank you for your reply.
I am happy to say I had the privilege to in business visit your very
beautiful and interesting country - and especially Amsterdam - some
times very, very many years ago.
I am also retired since ten years back and used to work on manager level

I wanted to say this:
normally, when you go near zoom horizontal bar on the bottom of the screen with
the arrow of your mouse, without clicking on it, it does nothing.
In my situation, it is sufficient to go near horizontal bar and commands behave
as if i'm clicking and moving it on the left or

Hello Pertti,
I couldn't agree more with you! I used to work for Mother Blue for nearly
30 years, dealing with large customers as a systems engineer. Even then
it occurred to me from time to time that we IT specialists thought that
IT was the only worthwhile endeavour. But, clearly, the business

Personally, this entire thread is a waste of time. Who cares who
is a moron as far as IT is concerned? Why complain about anything
unless you are going to do something about it? There is not a single
person that has contributed to this thread that is too old to contribute
to making LO
Gosh, Dan!
What am I doing about LO? Well, for ONE thing, I push it in my organisation
and elsewhere. Unfortunately I really don't have the time to do much more than
spreading the gospel...
Over and out!

Steve,
Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, by some reason, I do have different
settings by default on ubuntu, and when I do what you indicate my figures get
the size and shape of the cells.

Hi.
What format are the figures and how are you inserting them.
I have found that I get different results using copy and paste.
When I drag or import a jpeg it has scaling data in the file (dpi). A
png works like a jpeg. When I copy to the clipboard and paste it is just
bitmap and the table
That's the problem with OO -- LO; this program uses most of the RAM
therefore you cannot have other programs open at the same time.
Therefore, the only solution I know is to save the file -- close
the program -- then open your other program(s) ;-)
