Does LibreOffice Base have a runtime file that would enable me to distribute an
application to users who do not have the full version of Base installed on

How can this be accomplished with LO 4.0.4.2?
Cell B1 should be protected UNLESS the leftmost two characters in A1 are "0/"
The sheet is protected. A1 is unprotected. B1 is normally protected. I
unsuccessfully tried this conditional formatting in B1:

So, what's the latest version of LibreOffice or OpenOffice that will
read those formats? If needed, they could be used to save those old
files in a newer format.

Hi :)
I kinda gather that it is possible to develop new filters for the format,
perhaps as an Extension. There just doesn't seem to have been much
interest in it.
Also it is still easily possible to get older versions of software that can
read it and convert. Such older software not being vulner

hardware AND software.
If you think otherwise,

IIRC, the formats that are no longer supported

Hi :)
I think you can just follow the Firefox instructions to create a persona
that would work in Firefox.
Is it really as complicated as Peter's way or is that just a better and
more precise way of by-passing Firefox?
