[libreoffice-users] Upgrading Livre 3.4 to 3.5 / windows 7
Hello, I am trying to upgrade Libre office 3.4 to 3.5 on windows 7, but this fails. I get a warning that Libre should not run (it doesn't) and that the quickstart should be stopped. I can't find any quickstart in the processes, in the startup, nor in the running programs, so I am a bit stumped. Does anyone have a clue what might be amiss here? Thank you. Hi :) I would stick with the 3.4 until 3.5.1 is released. There seems to have been a few problems with the 3.5.0 release this week. On the other hand to make sure the problem gets fixed it might be worth posting a bug-report about it! http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport Regards from Tom :) --- On Thu, 16/2/12, Paul p...@nlpagan.net wrote: From: Paul p...@nlpagan.net Subject: [libreoffice-users] Upgrading Livre 3.4 to 3.5 / windows 7 To: users@global.libreoffice.org Date: Thursday, 16 February, 2012, 8:50 Hello, I am trying to upgrade Libre office 3.4 to 3.5 on windows 7, but this fails. Yesterday I upgraded my Linux install, which went fine. I'll keep an eye on 3.5.1. and if the problem still is there with that I'll file a bugreport. Paul -- A man said to the universe: Sir I exist! Bon giorno Carlo, Have you tried to uninstall 3.4.x (and perhaps restart Windows) *before* installing 3.5.0? I have thought of that as well, but had not taken time to do that. Keep the Tom's suggest to wait the 3.5.1 or 3.5.2 if you are not a power user. I did beta-testing for older OO-versions, I'm not afraid. ;-) I'll wait for 3.5.1. though. Thank you!
