Are you sure the page is ok and reachable? Sometimes devices with openwave
browsers, when the homepage times out go to openwave's homepage.
Which device are you using?

The kannel user guide doesn't say anything about the system-id in the
smpp section.
I think the password is test, but you should really double check with
your provider.
Doesn't hurt to try the password 'test' first :) .

We were able to successfully use the kannel to receive SMS message from
voicestream mobile phones on RedHAT.
We are using kannel version 1.0.3. But with the same version(1.0.3) on
Solaris 2.6 we observed the following problems.
The message will arrive at the Bearerbox (from the entries in ka

I have two different smsc.
How do I select the smsc I want to use?
Each smsc is defined like this:

smsc = at (or anything else)

Now, I want to use the at-smsc with this http-request.
Is it correct, if I set a group like this:

We have developed a SMSC and also implemented SMPP 3.4 protocol.
Now, we want to use kannel as a WAP Gateway. In test process, first, we
initiate SMSC and then according to configuration needed for kannel, we
run BearerBox and then WAP box. Bearerbox send a BIND_TRASMITTER and

hi all
sorry for the problems with my previous mail.
In Kannel's WAP Gateway what are the bearer types
supported.
Only IP based bearer service or other non IP bearer
services are also supported?
Does any IP based bearer service need any kind of
additional/adaptation layer?
To be specific

First of all I would like to suggest to use a more related subject

Hi,
I installed Kannel 1.1.4 (Cygwin 1.1.x) on Win2000. I used the conf file from RedHat
7.1, but it did not work. So I changed device for AT from /dev/ttyS0 to COM1, it
started working. Strangely, its giving following error after I make /cgi-bin/status
request.
